Why per power unit and not per user?
Because your cost of running DrayBase should scale with the work, not with how many people you let look at it. Per-seat pricing pushes carriers into sharing logins, which destroys the audit trail that makes settlements and disputes defensible. Every dispatcher, CSR and controller you have is included.
Do drivers count as users?
No. The unit is the tractor, not the person: two drivers running one tractor across shifts is still one unit. The driver app itself has not been built yet, so today there is no driver access to include or exclude.
What if a truck sits in the shop for a month?
The intent is that you are not billed for it. A unit should count in a month only if it moved at least one load, counted from completed moves rather than from your equipment list, with the invoice showing which units it counted. Billing is not built yet, so treat that as the design, not as a term you can hold us to.
Is there a free trial?
There is nothing to try yet. DrayBase has not launched, so there is no self-serve trial and no pilot programme with terms attached. What trials or pilots look like at launch: Pendiente. If you want to be involved before then, the waitlist is the way in.
What does migration actually involve?
The plan is that you give us an export or read-only access, we map customers, lanes, rates, accessorial rules, equipment and open loads, and both systems run in parallel while your dispatchers cut over a shift at a time. We have not done this for an outside carrier yet, so we are not going to quote you a number of days or a price.
Can we pay monthly?
Monthly and annual are both intended, month to month cancellable at the end of the period. The annual discount and the exact cancellation terms: Pendiente. There is no payment processing wired up today.
What happens to our data if we leave?
The commitment is that your operating history is yours: loads, documents, invoices, settlements and telemetry, exportable on the way out, with no exit fee. The export tooling is not built yet, and how long we keep your data after an account closes is Pendiente.
Do you have SOC 2?
No, and there is no audit under way to report on. We are not going to imply a certification we have not started. When a buyer's security team needs to look at architecture, encryption, access control and subprocessors, we will walk them through what is actually there and sign a DPA.
When does our port open?
NY / NJ first — Newark, Elizabeth, Port Liberty NY — because that is where the operation we build alongside actually runs. Beyond that nothing is scheduled. Join the waitlist with your home port and we will tell you a real date when there is one, instead of a roadmap slide.
When will you publish real prices?
When the numbers are decided and there is a system that can bill them. Until then every figure on this page stays a visible placeholder rather than a plausible number that turns out to be wrong the day someone tries to sign.
